The funniest thing happened over the weekend as I was doing my usual "once-in-a-few-months-game-console-cleaning" thingy.
A little bit of context first... Not sure if you are aware but Dbrand is a company that is known for their clever and cheeky nature - visible throughout their website, posts on X, etc. Whether it's placing quirky Easter Eggs on their products, or making memes about top YouTube creators, they've done it all and some more. Back in 2021, right after I got my PS5, I ordered the Darkplates faceplates from them, as I simply do not like the default white colour of the PS5.
So, as I was cleaning said PS5 over the weekend, I realised that I hadn't noticed this weird combination of words before, engraved on the underside of one of the faceplates, in such tiny font, I couldn't see it clearly initially. Well, upon close inspection... 👇
Well, I've been eluded from this clever easter egg for the last 3+ years of owning the original Darkplates (not Darkplates 2.0, mind you).
Well "wtf," I'll go back under the rock I was living under.
